Welcome!!
Hello and welcome to the Busy kids = Happy kids blog. Today we had a super busy day, unfortunately we did not get pics of the activities we accomplished today but we we can still share our fun we had. We had the car bin out today, play dough turkeys, Thanksgiving books on tape, music, played with the rabbits and dogs, and we made a word board for AR.
I will try to get pics taken tomorrow of some of these activities. The car bin was stacked with cars of different sizes and also included tracks of different sizes. The play dough turkey we made was play dough with feathers placed in. We played for an hour in the morning, another hour in the afternoon, and another hour after everyone left. We received a box of books on tape for thanksgiving which the kids just loved and where super excited about it. The word board we made was just a card board box half with contact paper on the front with Velcro on the box and we made cards of the different words AR can read along with names of people from class and family members names. We then made funny sentences. The big red family bat is Nat.
We are also doing a postcard exchange and could use a few more states. :)
AR had school all day then had Girl Scouts this was her first real meeting, it went great and she had such fun. AR also was picked to bring home the library monkey which is super cute, she gets to read to it because he loves books. she is working on reading, bible verses, money, first through fifth place, math and telling time.
AK had school today also he came home with a turkey they made in school. We are working on learning our letters with their sounds, shapes, states and bible verses.
